Bob Daly, age 89, beloved husband of Anna Lou, passed away on March 30, 2015. Born in Sea Cliff, Long Island on October 3, 1925, he was the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn Daly. Bob proudly and honorably served in the US Navy on the PC-1181 during WWII. After the war, he joined the International Union of Operating Engineers (Local 14, New York City), becoming a Gold Card member after sixty-eight loyal years. In his retirement, Bob researched every patrol craft boat from the WWII era and wrote a book titled “Steaming as Before”, and several articles published in various magazines. All of his research papers were donated to the Bay City Museum in Michigan.

In addition to his wife Anna Lou of 27 years, he is survived by his son Bob Jr., daughter-in-law Grace and granddaughter Alana. He is also survived by his step-daughters Kathy (Jim) Loomer and Sue (Jonathan) Agger, step-grandchildren Jimmy, Justin, Jason, Jacob, Sydney, and Lexi, and his brother Reverend Christopher H. Daly and sister-in-law Catherine Daly, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Lorraine, sister Mary and brother Thomas, as well as his nephews Joe Lemak and Stephen Daly, and his stepdaughter Linda Lyons-Schauer.
