Bob D. Kroush, 87, of South Jacksonville, died April 26, 2016, at his home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1929, in Waverly, the son of Paul and Margaret Brown Kroush. He married Janet L. Shadid in 1951 and she survives.
He is also survived by three daughters and one son, Susan Lyn (Eric) Davis of Topeka, KS, Jody (Jim) Treece of Jacksonville, Bobbie (Sam) Houston of Hernando, FL, and John (Karen) Kroush of Murrayville; seven grandchildren, Alison Davis, Erica Davis, Carolyn (Shawn) Hurd, Jennifer (Tim) Heady, Joe Treece, Madison Shirkey and Aiden Kroush; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Kroush was a 1948 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, the VFW and the Moose Lodge. Bob and his wife were founding members of the Starlight Campers Club at Lake Jacksonville. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends around their pool.
