Blanche MacGregor, 72, of New Buffalo, Michigan died Monday, June 26, 2006 at St. Anthony Memorial Health Center in Michigan City, Indiana.
Blanche was born March 23, 1934, to Edward and Lucille (Pflughaupt) Bromilow. Blanche grew up in New Buffalo and attended New Buffalo High School She was crowned Miss New Buffalo in 1950. On September 19, 1952, she married Douglas MacGregor in Angola, Indiana. Blanche was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in New Buffalo. The church was the most important part of her life, she enjoyed working in the church nursery and cleaning the church mission home. She had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time with her friends and working in her yard.
Blanche is survived by her son, Scott (Anne) MacGregor of Galien, Michigan; daughter, Stacey MacGregor of Sawyer, Michigan; grandchildren, Sian, Andrew, Ryan, Camden, Kate, John and Kipp; great-grandchild Brody and her sister, MaryAnn Hamilton of Michigan City, Indiana.
Her husband, Douglas, preceded her in death on October 29, 1971.
