Blanca Aurora Ravelo Landin, 78, of Newark, NJ passed away on August 12, 2016.
Blanca was born in Perico, Cuba to Agapito Reynaldo Landin and Blanca Aurora Garcia. She attended and graduated from Habana Normal School and the University of Habana Cuba with a degree in Education. After arriving in the United States she attended and graduated from Mercy College with dual degrees in Bilingual Education and Counseling. Blanca was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church for over forty years, where she was involved in several of their religious groups. Blanca’s favorite past-time was gardening.
Blanca is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Deacon Daniel Ravelo; son Daniel R Ravelo and wife Donna; daughter Mirian A Rebelo and husband Jose; and daughter Patricia B Puentes and husband Leonardo; and eight grandchildren Benjamin and Joseph Ravelo; Emilia, Sebastian and Lilian Rebelo; and Cecilia, Augustine, and Eva Puentes.
