Blaire Fredrick Barber, 55, of Big Canoe, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Blaire was born in Tacoma, Washington being raised in Lakewood, Washington and Marietta, Georgia before residing in North Ridgeville, Ohio, Columbia, Maryland, Princeton, New Jersey and Big, Canoe, Georgia. Blaire graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1974 and attended Georgia State University, Howard Community College, and the University of Maryland. He was a much beloved father, son, brother, and friend. Blaire loved life and his family, leaving a legacy of good spirit and enthusiasm in his wake. Blaire was preceded in death by his mother, Beverlee Barber. He is survived by his son, Kyle Barber of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Katie Barber of Hiawassee, Georgia; father, William Barber of Big Canoe, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Bill Allgood of Marietta, Georgia; Georgia and Mike Anders of Marietta, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Dawn Barber of Ellicot City, Maryland; grandmother, Ruth Haman of Denver, Colorado; many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private celebration of his life.
