Blaine Alvin Harris was born in Preston, Idaho the son of Byron Marler Harris and Klea Peterson Harris. He moved to Ogden at a young age and graduated from Ogden High School. Blaine served two years in the Army, serving in Korea during the conflict.
He spent his younger years hunting, fishing, playing golf, and skiing. As he grew older, he enjoyed his yard and garden.
