Rosado, Bishop Jose, Sr. of Merkel TX, formerly of Plattekill, NY, entered into rest Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Hendricks Hospice, Abilene, TX. He was 88. Born July 20, 1928, in Guaynabo, PR, he was the son of the late Bernabe and Carmen Laureano Rosado. He was a retired Bishop of Church of God, Glenham and a former Pastor for over 23 years, he has done Mission’s in Honduras for many years. Survivors include: his wife Frances Malave Rosado, two sons, Jose Rosado Jr., (Joann) of Merkel, TX, and David Rosado (Helen) of Hopkinsville, KY, three sisters, Elizabeth, Jenny and Victoria Rosado, seven grandchildren, Christin, Jillian, Dana, Rachel, Stephanie, Erica and Valerie, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
