Details: Bishop Glen H. Morris died on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore as a result of complications of surgery. He was the Senior Pastor of Chesapeake Christian Center. Pastor Glen and his beautiful wife Portia Morris began their pastorate at CCC in August 1987. In their 22-year tenure at CCC, Pastor Morris has built the membership from 300 to over 500 members. He has grown the congregation both physically and spiritually. A core group of the members have been with Pastor Glen throughout the 22 years and remain faithful to this day. Also during this time, he oversaw the remodeling of the old church facilities. Pastor Morris also orchestrated the sale of the church building to the Pasadena Evangelical Church and has overseen the new facilities at 206 Weston Woods Drive, Pasadena, MDPastor Morris accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior in October 1963.
