Billy Warren Law, 80, passed away Friday April 5, 2013 in Franklin. He was a resident of New Whiteland.
Billy was born April 22, 1932 in Lafayette, Tennessee to Jesse J. and Sara G. (Jent) Law.
He married Jean Halliburton on Dec. 4, 1954 in Danville; they were married for 58 years.
He was a machinist for Bendix Corporation in Franklin for 19 years; retiring in 1979.
Billy enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, where he grew vegetables, strawberries and berry bushes. He was a fan of NASCAR, Indiana University Basketball and Atlanta Braves Baseball. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Survivors include, his mother, Sara Law of Tenn., his wife, Jean Law of New Whiteland, three children, Robin Law of New Whiteland, Randy (Connie) Law of Greenwood and Terry (Leo) Vandivier of Franklin, a sister, Carolyn ( Lyn) Traughber of Tenn., two brothers, Tommy (Fredonna) Law of Kentucky and Gary (Jada) Law of Tenn., five grandchildren, Erin Law, Stacy Law, Josh (Desiree) Law, Jake Vandivier and Amber (Jeremy) Vandivier-Coy and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Destiny Law.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse J. Law and a sister, Nelda R. Henson.
