He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Buchanan and grandson, John Wesley is survived by two daughters, Sonja Ritch and Rhonda Johnson; one step-daughter, Terry Burgin; two step- granddaughters, Emma Christine Burgin Kunza, Susan Ellen Burgin and a great-granddaughter, Kassie Rhew.
