He is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith of Dalton; daughters, Cindy Bennett of Dalton, Renee Joyce of Dalton, Tiffany Cochran, and Ti Carroll; sons, Doug Smith of Athens, TN and Richard Smith of Dalton; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; niece, nephew, brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles also survive.
