Billy Myron Reed of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savor, Saturday May 2, 2015 in Fort Smith Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Myron was born March 23, 1957 to Billy Joe Reed and Rachael Ellen (Douglas) Reed in Mena, Arkansas. Myron was 58 years, 1 month and 9 days old. Myron faithfully attended the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God. Myron lived by his belief and strong faith in the Lord.
Myron grew up in and around Waldron, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting and he especially loved fishing on the Fourche River with his lifelong best friend. As a young man, Myron worked in the local grocery store and became a Butcher by trade. By the time he was a grown man, Myron had became a master at his trade and was well sought after by major chain stores across the area. Myron loved to do things for people, especially yard work. Myron was a perfectionist. Everything from his yard work to how he kept his vehicle had to be just right. Myron was a warm and caring person, especially when it came to his family. He loved each and every one of them and he didn’t care to tell you how proud he was.
Myron leaves behind to cherish his memory, one brother, George “Wally” Reed and wife Betty of Waldron, Arkansas, one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Beam and husband Josh of Centerton, Arkansas. Grandpa will missed by one granddaughter, the light of his life, Elise Beam. Myron will be missed by an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Rachael Reed, two brothers, Gaylon and Joe David and one sister in law Phyllis Reed.
