Billy F. “Bud” McGowan Sr., 66, of Chattanooga, passed away on May 21,2011 in a local hospital. Mr. McGowan was a born again Christian. He was employed with Adbac Finishers in Dalton, GA as the plant manager. His parents, Lewis and Gladys McGowan, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Peggie McGowan; sons, Billy F. “Buddy” McGowan Jr. and wife Shannon; James R. Rhoades and wife Debbie; daughter, Robin Annette Neighbors; 8 grandchildren, Jordan McGowan, Preston Rhoades, Mark Rhoades, Michael Neighbors, John Quirk, Peyton McGowan, Chastity McGowan, Tashia Neighbors; 3 great-grandchildren, Isaiah Rhoades, Leah Borden, Kyleigh Neighbors; 2 brothers, 2 sisters and mother-in-law, Ruth Murray.
