Billy Blount, a loving father, husband, brother, and friend to many passed on January 29, 2017 from natural causes.Billy Marvin Blount was born on 4-5-1946 in McComb, Mississippi to Lonie Bell Johnson and Hollis Blount. Billy served in the U.S. Army after which he attended and graduated LSU with a degree in business management. Billy had a long career with LSU before moving to Colorado 1997. Billy was very proud to build multiple homes, and was a good provider for his many children. Billy spent his last years as an enthusiastic parts collector,/picker and running an ebay store for his collection. He is survived by his wife Susan Blount, children John Blount, Alan Blount, Dylan Blount, sisters Ina Mae Creel,Linda Gayle Johnston, Patsy Catt, Mattie Edgens,Charollet Randol and brother William Monroe, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His energetic enthusiasm, kindness and love will be greatly misses by all who had the privilege to know him.
