Billy Leek, Sr., 88, of Centralia passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 25, 1930 in Mounds, son of Lonnie Leek and Edith (Baker) Leek.

He married Dorothy Mae Stergeon on May 29, 1949 and she survives in Centralia. In addition to his wife of 69 years, Dorothy Leek of Centralia, he is also survived by three children: Billy Leek, Jr. and wife Cindy of Junction City, Ronald Leek of Centralia, and Patricia Leek of Centralia; seven grandchildren: David Leek, Jimmy Leek and wife Kellie, Ricky Leek, Angie Walta and husband, James, Allen Branch, Kelly Eckhoff and husband Brad, and Mitchell Finley; twenty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lonnie and Edith Leek, a grandson: Tyson Leek; brother: Hershel Leek; special friends: Kenneth Jackson, Jerry Miller, and Fred Clark. Billy enjoyed watching his two favorite sports teams, the Orphans and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was of the Baptist faith and served on the Willow Grove School Board. Billy was known for the many years of coaching Little League Basketball and Baseball at the Recreation Complex in Centralia.

Billy and his wife Dorothy spent over 30 years in St. Padre Island during the winter months. Most of all, Billy enjoyed spending time with his family that he cherished.
