Bill was born August 16, 1941 to Joe C. Donowho and Dortha Hamilton Donowho in San Angelo, TX. Bill married his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, Shelia Ann Red in Roswell, NM on November 4, 2013, after 56 years of looking for each other. Bill worked at TMC, Nova Bus John Deer as Private Contractor Mechanical Engineer. After he retired, he drove a bus for New Mexico Tour Coaches. Bill loved to travel, he owned and flew his own airplane. He was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club and also a member of West Alameda Church of Christ.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Ann Donowho; parents, Joe C. and Dortha Donowho; daughter, Michelle Cosper and sister, Nancy Hodges.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Pamela Cosper of Whitehouse, TX; Tammy Galvin of Greenville, TX; Nancy Neal of Rockwall, TX; sisters, Mollie Shipp of Godley, TX; Sandra Shull of Haslet, TX; and Debra Lemmons of Hico, TX. He was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
