ELKHART — Billy Joe Johnson, 32, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, July 13, as a result of a motorcycle accident near Goshen.
He was born in Knox County, Ky., on July 30, 1981, to Leslie Sr. and Kimberly (Rhodes) Johnson, both of Elkhart.
Also, surviving are his sons, Kameron and Jerimiah Johnson; brothers Leslie Johnson Jr. and Adrian Couch; and sisters Angela (Brad Bontrager) Johnson and Kristina Snook.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Johnson.
Billy worked as a welder for Look Trailers of Middlebury, and he will be best remembered for his love for his friends and family and his ever-present smile.
