Billy Jack Walker, 79, of Chickamauga, died Sunday April 3, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Chickamauga, GA,veteran of the U.S. Army, and avid fan of the University of Alabama. Mr. Walker was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple. He retired from Combustion Engineering after 35 years where he was the president of the Boilermakers Union. Billy was a member of the Cleveland, TN Elk’s Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Peggy Joyce Walker, and son, Jody Walker. Mr. Walker is survived by sons, Stephen Walker, Chattanooga, Robert (Melva) Walker, Chickamauga, daughter, Lori (Tom) Walker Boyd, Hixson, grandchildren, Trey (Beth) Davis, Emily Davis, Schuyler Boyd, Matthew, Andrew, Robby (Christina), and Racquel Walker, step-grandchildren, Brian Boyd, Adam Boyd, Jessica McDonald, Jason McCrary, and great-grandchildren, Isabella Davis, Isabella Walker, and Lilah Davis.
