Billy J. Weisheim, age 80 of Midland, entered Heaven on Sunday November 21, 2021 surrounded by his family as they said “see you later” not goodbye.

The son of the late William M. and Beatrice H. (Adsit) Weisheim, Bill was born in LaPorte, Michigan on September 20, 1941. He was retired from Dow Corning, where he worked as an operator for over 34 years. And he was a faithful member of Midland Church of the Nazarene on Jefferson Ave.

Bill was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa. Although the family is rejoicing that he is now with The Lord, his loss will leave a huge void in their lives. Bill was a kind soft-spoken person with a great humor. He always put his family first, was a great provider and told the best jokes. He played softball for many years and loved watching sports, especially Tiger Baseball with Sharon and college football with his daughters. Sharon, Tammy and Teri have so many great memories of family camping trips with Bill at South Higgins Lake State Park. Bill dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren; they always made him smile!

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, the former Sharon L. Prybyski of whom he married on November 16, 1963; daughters, Tammy (Todd) Norton; Teri Goodman; grandchildren, Meghan (Matt) Strickling, Kailee (Conner Melancon) Norton, Madison Goodman, Emerson Goodman; great grandchildren, Griffin and Ada Strickling; sister, Betty Roberson. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Anna Hancock with whom he was extremely close.
