Billy Frank Boren, age 80, of Alpena, AR passed away on Tuesday, December 15th 2015. He was born September 9th 1935 at Alpena, AR, son of the late Frank Boren and Freda Raynor. He graduated from Alpena High School in 1954 and served in the Arkansas National Guard. Bill obtained his pilot’s license and loved to fly. He was a cattle farmer, enjoyed working on electronics, and was an avid collector of guns. Bill retired from Duncan Parking Meters in Harrison where he worked in maintenance department.
Bill is survived by one sister, Zenobia and husband Peter Daniel of Alpena, two nieces, Karen Woomer and husband David of Springfield, MO, and Sally and husband Frank Schiebel of Alpena.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Freda Boren.
