Billy Don Perkey, 77, of Glencoe, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Gassville Therapy and Living Center in Gassville, Arkansas.
He was born in Cave City, Arkansas on July 11, 1941, son of the late Charlie and Gertie (Lassiter) Perkey. Billy spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, Uncle and friend. He was united in marriage to the late Glodean Henry on December 11, 1968 in Glencoe, Arkansas. During his working years Billy worked in construction and was a member of Eutopia Baptist Church.
Billy is survived by his children, James Perkey and wife Rana of Gassville, Arkansas, Kristina Buckley and husband Donald of Palmer, Alaska and Chuck Foster and wife Vickie of Ash Flat, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Wesley Perkey, Alison Perkey, Mason Perkey, Brody Gabrial and wife Kelly, Misty Payne and husband Eric, Chelsey Foster and Tyler Foster; five great grandchildren; sisters, Glenn Davis of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, Tommie Garlin of Batesville, Arkansas, Jo England of Cave City, Arkansas and Kay Milligan of Russellville, Arkansas and brother, Von Perkey of Batesville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glodean Perkey; parents, Charlie and Gertie Perkey; sister, Clois Ray and brothers, J.J. Perkey, Paul Perkey and Verl Perkey.
