Bill went home to be his Lord and Savior on March 16, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Bill was a dedicated husband and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Bill was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery; great granddaughter, Whitley Conn; parents, Clarence and Bertha Conn; brothers, Edward, Charles and Mitchell; sister, Bonnie Payne; his loving in-laws, Virgil and Lillie Self, Carolyn Spencer and Robert Self. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathryn; sons, Dewayne (Stephanie), Christopher (Ali), and Debbie Conn; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Roscoe; Sisters, Margaret Merritt and Evelyn Conn.
