Ret. SFC. Billy Carl Davis, 70, of 717 Tarboro Street, Rocky Mount, NC, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at The Veterans Medical Center in Durham, NC.
He leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving wife, Gladys Inez Moore Davis of the home; one son, Billy Merwin Davis of Rocky Mount, NC; one daughter, Latarsha Romaine Davis-Parker (Melvin) of Sharpsburg, NC; one sister, Victory Joyce Davis Sherrod; two brothers, Floyd Davis of Baltimore, MD and Johnathan Davis of Wilson, NC; three grandchildren, Joree Makyla Davis-Rawlins and Jayden Malia Davis-Hill, both of Sharpsburg, NC and Billy Merwin Jr. of Virginia; one great grandchild, Billy Merwin, II of Maryland; one God daughter, Jillian Graham of Rocky Mount, NC; one very special cousin, Rachel Greene Barnes of Wilson, NC and a host of other relatives, friends, neices and nephews.
