Mrs. Billie Clonch Yount, 77, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
She was born in Wilkes County, NC, to the late Fannie Blackburn and Royal Clonch. She graduated from Mountain View High School and worked at Belks for many years before retiring.
Billie was a very strong, loving, caring, Christian woman who loved many and was loved by many. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Deanna) Yount of North Augusta, SC, and Bryan (Rhonda)Yount of Statesville, NC; sister, Sadie Queen of N. Wilkesboro, NC; brother, Joe Clonch (Alice) of N. Wilkesboro, NC; and three grandchildren, Jarrett Yount, Ashlyn Yount, and Blake Strawhorn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Thomas (Tom) Yount.
