Billie was born in San Francisco to Maida and William Hanchey. She was the oldest of 16 children.

Billie met the love of her life Charles B. Park and was married November 2, 1957. They had four daughters Tracey, Xana, Joni and Suzanne.

Billie taught in the Minidoka County School District for 19 years, while raising 4 active daughters, founding BJ’s Bridge Club, and past President of the Rupert Lady’s Country Club Golf Association. She was the silent manager of Parky’s Drive Inn, Wayside Café, Charlie’s Café and Chadwick’s. She was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She started the G.W.P. – God’s Wayside Project, and Senior Day at the Wayside. Not to mention she also established an effective and popular “Monday Night Moochers”. If you would like to know more about her famous Monday nights, ask any one of her grandchildren.

Above all these accomplishments, her greatest love was her husband “Chazzy”. She loved her family, and campfire singing, her favorite song “On Top of Old Smokey”.
