Billie Jean Bridge, 92, of Oxnard, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She was born December 20, 1920, in Farmington, NM and had been a county resident for just over 80 years. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she taught first graders at Mar Vista Elementary School in Oxnard for 16 years.
Billie was a woman of deep Christian faith and her love of family and others will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children: Phillip Bridge (Wife – Lorinda), Linda Juarez (Husband – Wayson), Karen Bush (Husband – George); Grandchildren: Leanne, Alisa, Laura, Amanda, Matthew and Bryan; Great-Grandchildren: Joey, Jonathan, Thomas, Ariel, Christian and Dylan.
