Bill Wilson Whitley, 66, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Canon City, CO. He was born June 8, 1946 in Sante, California to Blueford and Mary Jane (Austin) Whitley. Bill was united in marriage to Gail Curry. Bill was a seven time survivor of cancer. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Whitley is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Tony Meyers, Billy Blue Whitley, Carlina McGuffy, Dawn (Jerry) Whitley, Shelly Carter, Brandie (Johnny) Hodgin, Shaun (Kandie) Carter, and Chris Whitley. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four nieces, Kathleen, Trish, Anita, and Charley; and one very loved aunt, Marie Shried. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura Huges; and cousins, Mike Whitley and James Whitley.
