On October 20, 2021, Bill Stuart Miller, Jr. passed away at the age of 73; devoted husband of Jay (John Clarke) Wallace; devoted father of Sian Ramsey and husband Andrew; cherished grandfather of Jonathan Jollans and Elliott Jollans, beloved brother of Selise Miller, Lynn Wheeler and husband Darrell, Wende Markham, Rev. Chuck Miller and wife Sharon; favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Stuart Miller, Sr and Helen Barrier Miller.
Stuart was retired from Honeywell, where he had been employed as a quality assurance analyst. He had also worked for Accent, Sav-A-Stop and Medeco.
Stuart was born in Concord, North Carolina and grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. He was a graduate of William Fleming High School (1966) and attended Roanoke College.
Stuart enjoyed bicycling, gardening, camping, dining out with his Dirty Dozen neighbor group and travelling to Europe and throughout the US. He was an animal lover and was devoted to his cat Scooter.
