Bill Mauk, 86, of Maysville passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at his home. He was a retired mechanic for Ashland Oil where he worked for 42 years and was a US Marine Veteran serving in Korea.
Bill was born in Greenup Co. on February 29, 1928 son of the late Willis and Flora Webb Mauk.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Bonnie Setser Mauk; two daughters, Karen (Tom) Cox of Vanceburg; Kathy (Jim) Rice of May’s Lick; a granddaughter, Hannah Rice. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Joe, Howard and Carl Mauk; a sister, Bess Evelyn Turner.
