He was born on August 17, 1972 in San Juan, Texas to Alberto Chavez & Belinda Leal. Bill was an auto mechanic & handyman, he liked to cook, play the guitar, loved animals, and enjoyed fishing. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan & liked listening to Iron Maiden. He was a very giving & generous person who also was very funny & humorous. He was a loving, wonderful, & devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, & friend.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Elida Leal; uncle, Lazaro Leal Jr.; father in law, Leonel M. Gonzalez; mother in law, Lydia Zapata Gonzalez; and sister in law, & Josefa Gwendolyn Gonzalez.
Bill leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory, his beloved wife of 25 years, Diana Zapata Gonzalez; children, Brian Michael Chavez, Jonathan Matthew Chavez, Brianna Marie Chavez, & Wendy Lydia Chavez; father, Alberto Chavez; mother, Belinda Rodriguez; brothers, Alberto Chavez Jr. & Hector Chavez; sister, Andrea Hinojosa; and numerous nieces & nephews.
