Bill Eugene Bishop, 90, of Gooding, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at his home.
Bill was born on January 1, 1930, to Hernice and Lula Bell Hager Bishop in Texhoma, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma and then moved to Idaho.
Bill served in the Army from 1952 until 1954. He was in the A-Bomb Testing at Desert Rock, Nevada. He received several awards for suggestions and improving parts and flying equipment.
He married Carol Higley on October 18, 1952 in Gooding, Idaho.
His hobbies were hunting and fishing.
He is survived by: his wife – Carol M. Bishop; a daughter – Debra Sue Davis of Gooding; sons – Bill Alan Bishop of Fairbanks, Alaska and Rodney Lee Bishop of North Pole, Alaska; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a great great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter – Tamara M. Bishop Mercer; his father – Hernice W. Bishop; his mother – Lula Hager Bishop; brothers – Joe Cecil Bishop, Wayne Earl Bishop, Paul D. Bishop; a sister – Evelyn Bishop.
