A Life Well Lived
Bianca (nee Torri) Nunziati, born November 18, 1939, to Giuseppe Torri and Maria Pia Manzi, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by loved ones after her sudden battle with cancer.
Bianca grew up in Montefiascone, Italy, with five siblings. As a young woman, Bianca moved to the United States. Through her hard work and determination, she became a naturalized citizen, learned to speak English, and embodied the American Dream.
Bianca married Riccardo Nunziati on September 26, 1964. Together, they built a business in Hinsdale and eventually moved to Oak Brook with their three children.
To escape the midwestern winters, Bianca and Riccardo moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2009. Although she missed her family, she found friendship in the desert.
Bianca’s love for her family and friends was evident in her everyday actions – offering a warm cappuccino and a piece of ciambellone or a comforting slice of lasagna to her friends or teaching her grandchildren how to make a proper pizza. Her charm, style, and grace resonated with all who came to know her.
She will be especially missed by her husband, Riccardo, her three children, Cathy (Nunziati) Nusgart (Jonathan Nusgart), Rick Nunziati (Alison Abel), Sabrina Nunziati, and their eight grandchildren: Julia, Nicholas, Natalie, Sophie, Alec, Daniella, Anthony, and Vincent.
We will honor and celebrate her life Saturday, November 17, 2018, at St.
