Beverly R Thompson, 96, of Anderson, passed away on December 1, 2021.
She was born on October 4, 1925, in Madison Co., Indiana. Beverly graduated from Anderson High School and Indianapolis Barber Academy. She was a homemaker and a Barber for Meadowbrook Barber Shop which was her love. She was a member of Future Homemakers of America and enjoyed refinishing furniture.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Edward) Burke; siblings, Mary (Bob) Zachary and Freddy (Virginia) Merrill; grandchildren, Kevin Thompson, Kelli (Jerry O’Bryant) Thompson Whitehead, Jason (Lori) Thompson, Jama Burke, Rhonda Elliott Estes, Richard Elliott, Robert Elliott, Scott (Elena) Burke; great-grandchildren, Ryan (Erika) Whitehead, Austin Thompson, Carmon Elliott, Cody Estes, Crystal Elliott, Mila Burke; great-great-grandchildren, Sadie Whitehead, Riggs Whitehead, Colton Calahan, Christian Dawson, Chloe Dawson, Zoe Estes, Logan Estes, and Colton O’Bryant; daughters-in-law, Sharon Thompson and Donetta (Terry) McKinnon; several nieces and nephews and bonus daughter, Robin Pough.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Thompson Sr.; son, Fred Thompson, Jr.; parents, Robert Rice and Mary Jane Rice Merrill; siblings, Tom Merrill, Larry Merrill, Betty Hathcoat, Wilbur Merrill, Raymond Merrill, Don Merrill. Granddaughter, Christi Thompson Hart; and great-granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Thompson.
