  • Date Of Death: October 29, 2022
  • State: Pennsylvania

Beverly Moran Frinzi, 67, of Whitehall, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022, with her family by her side, following complications from a stroke.  Daughter of the late William Francis Moran Sr. and Margaret (Elm) Moran, Beverly was born on May 18, 1955 in Easton, PA. She grew up always wanting to help others. Her commitment to caring for others was inspired by her brother, the late Judge William F. Moran Jr. of Northampton County and their father, who was the United Steelworkers Union President in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey during the 1970’s.

Beverly graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1973 and thereafter studied at Cedar Crest College.  In the early 1980s, Beverly worked as a tradeshow coordinator for Koh-I-Noor, a technical pencil and pen manufacturing company, then based in Bloomsbury, NJ.  This position allowed her to travel extensively throughout the United States.  While at Koh-I-Noor, Beverly met her husband, Jeffrey.

After Beverly’s husband accepted a job offer in California, Beverly and Jeffrey moved to San Diego, California in 1985.  They lived in San Diego, with their two sons, until 2003. While in San Diego, Beverly worked as a Patient Service Representative at Green Hospital of Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, California.  It was in California that Beverly first showed a passion for helping others, specifically children and young students with special needs.  She was the co-founder of POSSE, Jr. (Parents Of Students of Special Education) in Encinitas, California; and, through her zealous advocacy, she helped many young students receive the benefits and education they deserved. She had been a member of the Autism Society of America since 1993.

Beverly and her family returned to the Lehigh Valley in 2003; and, after deciding that her calling was not quite finished, at the age of 55, Beverly went back to school for nursing. She received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Nursing at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, PA in 2011. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing, CHNP=Clinical Trials Research from Drexel University in 2017. At the time of her passing, Beverly had just completed her 3rd year working as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Hospital Inpatient Behavioral Health in Allentown.

Beverly loved being with her family and friends, and she enjoyed the laughter and lively discussions that often ensued. She particularly loved spoiling her grandchildren, Quinn (7) and Carter (5), whom Beverly described as the joys of her life.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, her sons, Timothy Frinzi and Bill and his wife Christine Andersen and her grandchildren, Quinn and Carter.
