Beverly Maxwell Harper, 80 of Newnan, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Newnan Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 25, 1938 in Greenville, SC to the late James Alexander Maxwell & Fannie Cole Maxwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Harper and sister, Angeline Kee. Mrs. Harper was a longtime member of Newnan First United Methodist Church. Beverly and her husband, Alvin, owned and operated an independent insurance agency in Newnan for many years. Survivors include siblings, James. R. (Donna) Maxwell, Martha Jean (Gerald) Harris, Tommy (June) Maxwell, Velma (Jeff) Gulick; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
