BARKHAMSTEDGRASSO – Beverly M. Grasso, 90, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2021 at Geer Assisted Living Facility in Canaan. She was the loving wife of the late Maurice D. Grasso. Born March 12, 1931 in Winsted; the daughter of the late Millard and Doris (Allen) Kittredge. Beverly loved her family, golfing, weekly card games with the girls and traveling with her late husband. As a former resident of Barkhamsted, she was an active member of the Barkhamsted Senior Citizens as well as Barkhamsted Republican Committee. Beverly was a former Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph’s Church, Winsted. She was employed by CIGNA and retired after many years of service. She is survived by her three daughters, JoAnne Centurelli and husband Hank of Winsted, Susan Catrini and husband Nick of NJ and Lisa Neher and husband Russell of New Hartford; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Girolamo and husband John of Winsted and June Pequignot of ME; as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brothers, Mahlon and Richard Kittredge.
