Beverly Joyce (Baker) Faletto, 88, of Peru, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Manor Court in Peru.
Mrs. Faletto was born May 25, 1927 in Peru to Herman and Mary (Metz) Baker. She was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School and attended LPO Junior College. She married Philip John “P.J.” Faletto on June 4, 1949 at St. Joseph’s Rectory in Peru. Beverly was a member of First Congregational Church in Peru for most of her life where she sang in the choir for most of that time under the direction of her close friend, Nancy Janssen.
She was a member of Deer Park Country Club. Beverly enjoyed playing bridge and tennis, working in her yard and gardening, church choir, traveling with her husband and spending time with family and friends. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Faletto of Mendota and his children, Dana, Liana and Joanie all of Chicago; Jon (Cheri) Faletto of Lakewood Ranch, FL and their children, Steven of Chicago and Rachel of St. Louis, MO; and one daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Faletto Davis and their son, Dominic all of Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip on January 19, 1998; one sister, Gloria Samuels and one brother, Defay Baker. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
