Beverly Jo Johnston, 60, of Clarksburg passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 13, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV; daughter of Robert W. Small and the late Evelyn J. Jamison Small.
Beverly is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Benedum Parr and husband, Chris of Fairmont; one son, Lucas Small-Johnston and wife Brooke Wickenhofer; two grandchildren, Anastasia Benedum, Evan Parr; one brother Terry Small and wife Linda of Greenback, TN; a special niece Leigh McNabb, husband Taylor and family; a nephew, Stephen Small, wife Julie and family; plus many more nieces and nephews; a grand-puppy Dracula; a grand-dog Roxie; a grand-cat Cinnamon and her own loving cat Jessie.
In addition to her mother, Beverly was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Small and fur baby, Zoey.
Beverly graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School, and attended Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community and Technical College. She was an administrative assistant for Fairmont State University. She volunteered at the Clarksburg Mission. She loved line dancing, animals (rescuing and taking them in). She was a supporter of the Harrison County Humane Society and Pet Helpers, Inc. in Fairmont.
