            Beverly was born October 16, 1931, in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada to Royal and Alice Mohondro. Her father worked on dam construction in Montana and she lived at Fort Peck and in a tent in Gibson Park in Great Falls. The family then lived in Bremerton, Washington during World War II. She graduated from Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley in 1949. After graduation, she rode the train to Great Falls to attend Columbus School of Nursing. She graduated with the class of 1953 and still maintained many of those friendships.

 

            She married Donald A. Gould on February 27, 1954 in Great Falls. Donald and Beverly farmed and ranched at Ulm until Donald’s death in 2003. Beverly was a super farm wife, cooking many big meals for the crew, baking bread, driving grain truck and doing whatever needed to be done. She also continued to work as a nurse off and on over the years, In the 1980s she went to work at Montana Deaconess Medical Center and retired as a nursing supervisor. She made many great friends during her years at the Deaconess. She then went to work at J.C. Penney for fun retiring in 2001 when her first great-grandson, Benjamin, was born.

 

            Beverly was a Past Matron of Cascade Chapter #101, Order of Eastern Star. She was a past Grand Guardian of Montana Job’s Daughters International, traveling the state and to Australia with her granddaughter, Rebecca. She had also traveled throughout Europe.

 

            Beverly will be remembered for her loving, caring nature and great sense of style. Her grandchildren  and great-grandchildren were a great joy to her. They will remember her for her sense of devotion and strawberry jam!

 

            She is survived by her sister, Alice Koch of Ritzville, Washington; son, Gregory Gould (Aimee Hachigian-Gould) of Ulm; daughter, Jean (Arthur) Scoates of Ulm; granddaughters Sarah Young, Rebecca (Joshua) Brown of Great Falls and Amber (Rick Rossberg) Gould of Post Falls, Idaho; grandsons Andrew Gould and Brandon Gould of Ulm; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Dominique McGrew, Brady Smelser and Scotlen and Scarlett Brown.

 

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers, William, James and Roy Mohondro.
