Beverly Jean Wierengo, 92, of Portage, passed into the presence of her Savior on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at her Beacon Pointe home.

She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 23, 1928, to Emerson and Donna (Weiss) Brondyke.

She was united in marriage to P. Adrian Wierengo on September 12, 1947.

Beverly retired from The Upjohn Company and was an owner of the former Emerson Appliance and Hardware Store. Beverly loved to collect and sell antiques, hold garage sales, and attend auctions. She loved to talk, and no one was a stranger. Beverly was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church, Kalamazoo, and a current member of Berean Baptist Church, Portage.

Beverly is survived by her son, David (Karen) Wierengo of Kansas City, Missouri and daughter, Susan (John) Webster of Kalamazoo. She is survived by five grandchildren, Jonathan (Caryl) Wierengo, Christina (Brian) Barth, Michelle Webster, Elizabeth Francis, and Sarah Milam (Brent Hoogerhyde); eight great-grandchildren, Luke Wierengo, Maggie Wierengo, Molly Kate Wierengo, Piper Wierengo, Taylor Grace Barth, Trevor Barth, Joseph Barth and Mackenzie Barth. Beverly is also survived by two sisters, Judy (Timothy) Santinga of Trinity, Florida, and Nancy (Mike) Kirkpatrick of Phoenix, Arizona.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, parents, and In-Laws, Peter and Clara (Knapp) Wierengo.
