UPTON – Beverly J. Humes, 73, of Upton and formerly of Marlboro and Natick, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in Milford Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was a retired licensed practical nurse.
Miss Humes was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Ralph and Gertrude M. (Young) Humes. A graduate of David Hale Fanning Trade High School in Worcester, she worked at the former Knowlton Manor Nursing Home in Upton and then at Westboro State Hospital and Cushing Hospital for several years before retiring many years ago. She moved to Millhaus Apartments in Upton from Marlboro about ten years ago and was a member of the Upton Historical Society.
She leaves two brothers, Robert C. Humes and Richard H. Humes, both of Upton; two nephews and two nieces.
