Those left to honor Beverly’s memory are her sons, Michael D. Mortenson (Peg Snyder) of Seattle, Washington; Dave (Cyndi) Mortenson of Swan, Iowa; Tim (Judi) Mortenson of Rogers, Minnesota; and Chris Mortenson of Waukee, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren, Wendy Hartz, Brenna Griffin, Will Mortenson, Nick Mortenson, Tanner Mortenson, Shane Griffin, Andy Mortenson, Mackenzie Moss, Max Mortenson, Dylan Mortenson, Drew Mortenson, Nathan Mortenson, and Luke Mortenson; her brothers, Wayne Griffith of Port Townsend, Washington; Bill Griffith of West Vancouver, Washington; her sister, Betty Griffith of Bangkok, Thailand; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Erma (Prather) Griffith; daughter, Edie (Moss) Mortenson in 2002; a son in infancy; and brother, Andrew Griffith.
Beverly was a homemaker and she owned and was an instructor at the Ceramic Cellar in Newton for 10 years.
Beverly was very interested in genealogy, she also enjoyed bowling, doing jig saw puzzles, playing games, going to garage sales, bird watching, bird houses and light houses
