Beverly A Gentry, 79, of Franklin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was born to Ernest and Evelyn (Hawkins) Gentry on September 3, 1939 in Indianapolis.
Beverly worked as a chef cook and sales associate throughout her life. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. Beverly loved making crafts, especially canvas crafts. She enjoyed playing BINGO. Beverly loved watching NASCAR racing. Beverly loved spending time with her family.
Beverly is survived by her son, Warner (Deborah) Colyer Jr. of New Whiteland; her step-daughter, Lisa Upchurch; her sister, Donna Holtzclaw of Bedford; her two grandchildren, Renee N Coyler and Kristi (David) Hayden; and her great-grandchildren, Isabella N. Colyer, Cristian E. Hayden, Madisyn L. Hayden, and Raelynn N. Colyer.
Beverly was preceded in death by her significant other, Obey Upchurch; her parents, Ernest and Evelyn (Hawkins) Gentry; her sister, Janice Gentry; and her brother-in-law, Lexi Holtzclaw.
