HEINS – Beverly A. Heins, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was the loving wife of John N. Heins, Jr., for 55 wonderful years. Born in Biddeford, Maine; the daughter of the late Alfred and Eleanor (Kimball) Robbins.
Beverly was an Alumni of The American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Class of 1962. She was very athletic and involved in Basketball, Volleyball, softball and speedway.
She worked for many years for Becton Dickinson. Bev loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them especially her cherished grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her as she always kept everyone close even having family sleepovers. She loved to shop, take pictures and enjoyed taking trips to Maine and Rhode Island. She is already missed beyond measure.
In addition to her devoted husband, she leaves her beloved daughters, Brenda Dubrule and husband Scott of Norfolk, Karen Toth of Falls Village and Cheryl Heins and fiancé Wayne Ritchie of Winsted; grandchildren, Jacob and girlfriend, Liz, Colby, Joshua, Zachary, Domonic, Rylee, Luke and Wyatt; a great grandchild on the way; two siblings, Roger Robbins and wife Dorothy of Torrington and Alyce Wallenhorst of FL; close in-laws, Richard Heins of NC and Maryjane Vaillancourt of RI; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Zucco.
The Heins family would like to thank the staff at Valerie Manor, Claudia, Ashley and former caregivers, Margaret and Becky for their care and kindness.
