Beverly Ann Figlar, age 71, of Winston – Salem, NC, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of 53 years of Neil Figlar, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Vincent Anthony Russo and Margaret Elizabeth (O’Reilly) Russo, she had been a long-time Fairfield resident prior to moving to North Carolina in 2013. She was a 1959 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Grammar School and Andrew Warde High School in 1963. Beverly was employed for 40 years in accounting for Town Fair Tire. She was an avid bowler and bowled for decades at Circle Lanes and the Town Fair Tire Bowling Team. Beverly loved to travel, was a voracious reader, loved to cook, enjoyed shopping, was a movie buff, enjoyed bingo and trips to the casinos.
