Beverly Ann Bates, 75, of Saint Marys formerly of Wallace, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 in Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. She was born on April 27, 1947 in Painesville, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Dent Bates and Pauline Mayfield Bates.
She is survived by her son, Jed Bates and his wife Marie of Saint Marys; two grandchildren, Christopher Williams and Cameron Talkington; three sisters, Phyllis Hussman, Janet Stevens and Louella DeBerry; and and half-brother, Bill Cooper.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Bates; and her sister, Linda Bates.
Beverly was a registered nurse for nineteen years until her retirement in 1994 from the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. She enjoyed quilt making, spinning wool, weaving, bread making and historical biology.
