Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Covenant Healthcare – Harrison. She was 87 years old. Beverly Ann Parker was born on September 6, 1930 in Caro, Michigan to the late Elgie and Laura (Huffman) Parker.
Bev worked as surgical technician for over 25 years with the Saginaw Hospitals and then continued to volunteer at Covenant HealthCare during her retirement. Bev was a faithful member of First Congregational Church. She enjoyed the friendships she shared at McBrite.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Judith) Newas; grandchildren: Robert Newas and Stacey (Mark) Harvey; three great grandchildren: Hannah Newas, Weston Harvey and Lauren Harvey; sister, Linda Kane; nephew, Christopher (Crystal) Kane.
She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jacob Newas; brothers, Ronald, Robert and Eugene Parker.
