Beverly Ann (Knapp) Schlosser of Trenton, MI passed away November 17, 2009 of natural causes. She was born in Holgate, Ohio, the daughter of Orville and Beulah Knapp. Beverly married John Schlosser, Sr. in 1946 and they moved to Riverview, MI in 1950 where John started his railroad career. Beverly raised four children and was an early working mom, developing a successful career in nursing. She retired as a charge nurse from Wyandotte General Hospital in 1985. She was well known for her disciplined approach to providing her patients the highest level of care and was recognized as such many times. She was always active in her children’s activities at the same time and was loved very much by those around her. She and John also wintered in Englewood, FL for the past 13 years. Beverly was honored many times for her contributions to the Trenton Garden Club and was an active member in the choir at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Trenton. Beverly is survived by her husband of 63 years, John and sons Thomas (Southlake, TX), David (Trenton, MI) and Deborah (Wyandotte, MI),and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie (Holgate, OH) and her brother James (Toledo, OH). Beverly leaves many, many friends behind from Michigan, Ohio and Florida. She was preceded in death by her oldest son John Jr. and her sister Natalie Barnes. Beverly’s family wants to express their sincerest appreciation for all who loved and supported her and her family. Her life can be summed up with Always there, always fair. Burial will take place on Saturday November 21, 2009 1pm at the Cole Cemetery, Florida OH.
