Beulah Ruth Howell, 73, of Pate Circle passed away Thursday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Irene Gurganus, and was the wife of Billy Ray Howell for 55 years. Mrs. Howell was a lover of animals and had a knack for caring for them. She also had a love for gardening.
