Mrs. Beulah Mae Hickerson Rose, 76, of Flemingsburg passed away Thursday September 15, 2011 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Rose was born July 15, 1935 in Fleming County to the late William and Nancy Perkins. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and worked numerous jobs to provide for her family. She was devout to her religion and believed with prayer all things could be achieved. Mrs. Rose was a member of Wallingford Christian Holiness Church, and often attended other churches and gospel sings throughout the community to profess her faith.
Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by 2 husbands Clyde Hickerson and Ollie Rose a son Vernie Perkins, and two grandchildren Rachel and Jonathon Hickerson.
Survivors include three sons: Melvin (Marlene) Hickerson, Steve (Florence) Hickerson, and James (Nancy) Hickerson, Siblings: Victor (Carolyn) Perkins, William Russell (Betty) Perkins, Vernie Perkins,
Wilma (Wayne) Capps, Mary (Donnie) Livingood, 6 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.
